About Us
The Purpose of Bridgehaven CAC is to coordinate the work of the multidisciplinary partnership and to ensure that child victims are not revictimized by the system designed to protect them.
It takes everyone to break the cycle of child abuse. We at Bridgehaven Children’s Advocacy Center (CAC) are committed to maintaining diversity, equity and inclusion within our organization. We understand that having diversity and inclusivity within our Bridgehaven CAC Family is central to our mission and our impact. It is crucial to have varied perspectives for a successful approach to ending child abuse.
What we do
Bridgehaven Children’s Advocacy Center empowers children and their families with safety, healing, and justice through comprehensive services after traumatic events.
Services
Bridgehaven offers six core services: Joint-Investigation Coordination, Forensic Interviews, Family Advocacy, Trauma-Focused Therapy, Medical Evaluations by registered nurse practitioners, and Multidisciplinary Case Review.
Prevention
Bridgehaven offers age-appropriate curriculum to local schools, daycares, civic groups, church groups, and any orginzations providing services for youth.
Collaboration
Bridgehaven works with eighteen partner agencies throughout Liberty and Chambers counties in an effort to protect and defend victims of child abuse.
